I think that what happens to the illegal immigrants who are still landing in this country, will depend on the outcome of the trade talks with the EU in that if there is no trade agreement with the EU, and we then trade under W.T.0 rules, with more customs checks at the ports, then I would expect the government to implement a policy of returning illegal immigrants back to France, on the same day as they land in this country.
