I class myself has a non practising christian. I have been married for over 45 years and have the certificate to prove it, I was Catholic but got married in a C of E church the missus being of that faith. In either churches eyes I am not married I did not change my faith to C of E so that faith does not recognise me and I did not have a wedding service in the Catholic church so that faith does not recognise me has married either.
Again with christenings Holy Trinity church was my wifes parish and we had our eldest son christened there in 1978 even thou we had left the parish in 1975 but when we wanted our youngest christened in 1981 told no way go to your own parish(St Peters Bryn)which we did.We now only go into any church for Christenings - Marriages -Funerals
