Religion unites a community with everyone abiding by the same rules. problems arise when a community comes across another with different rules. I'm not religious but I do thing a problem with our society now is that many have no moral guidance at all. Does God exist ? it's all about faith not proof. Hindus will say it doesn't matter which path you follow, be it Christian, Muslim or whatever because there can only be one truth. we need to be more tolerant and accepting. people are free to believe what they choose. It doesn't mean that one person's beliefs are better or worse than others. People on here laughing at old bible stories but you have to remember that these tales came long before our understanding of science when people would try and make sense of the world and what life was all about. stories like this exist all around the globe and have passed from ancient cultures and should be respected as such and not laughed at. Well, like I say I'm not religious but each to his own.
