I'm not provoking anyone. I just wondered why I was brought into the squabble about bad language used on the site by someone who wanted the thing dropped

"I’ve apologised for mine many times, let it drop won’t you."

Seems a funny way to me to plead " let it drop won’t you." then start it up again.
