General   (General discussion, talk about anything.)

So, what some of you are saying is, people who don't wear masks can't shop for food and other necessities, even if they're asthmatic, have COPD, people who already have speaking difficulties such as stammering, people who have difficulty breathing or, like myself, claustrophobic?

It's a bit late in the day to start asking people to wear masks in shops after several months of not having to, dontcha think? So, where did this "new" law come from all of a sudden? Having someone "on guard" at shops would be an outrageous violation of our freedom and would, ostensibly, put themselves in danger of being attacked by desperate people who only want to eat, which is a basic human right!

I continue to shop at my local Tesco Express in the evening when it's quiet and have had no problem. I mentioned to one of the ladies who serves there that wearing a mask wasn't compulsory for them, but she told me that, if they were on the shop floor, they had to wear one as company policy, but could be taken off once serving behind the screen provided. She also told me that they weren't allowed to turn customers away so, to whom do we now turn? Hmm, let me think. Armed Police? The Army? Are we to have Marshal Law declared on people who only want to buy some food? Are we suggesting a spot of Fascisism here? "Oh, just shoot 'em. The cheek! They want food? How dare they!"

Reeediculous! I will not be dictated to by bloody idiots in the Government who don't know their backsides from their elbows and I will NOT cover my face with a skimpy piece of cloth that's as useful as a chocolate fireguard and end up having a panic attack, nor will I be brain-washed, and as long as people continue to believe all the propaganda about this situation then their lives will remain in fear.

If you didn't become ill within the first few weeks, then you won't, because viruses are airborne, meaning they are in the atmosphere from which we cannot escape because we have to breathe to survive.

It's okay, I know many of you will have a go at me for this, and I don't care, but I was so incensed by some of you saying people should be turned away if they aren't wearing masks that you become judge and jury over others who don't know the medical conditions of those that still need to shop, despite their disabilities.
