January 21st the first case of the virus in the US.
January 22nd Public Health England raises the public risk of the virus from very low to low.
January 29th the first case of the virus in the UK.

On a like for like basis the number of US deaths associated with Coronavirus would be 225,000 relative to the 45000 UK deaths.
