Sorry to impose, I never had a motor bike but all my mates had them, (being a John Bull very regular).

When I was 17 my mate had a Suzuki 50 and let me have a go, I accidentally pulled an impressive wheelie, got off it and gave it him back......haven't been on one since, frightened me to death it did.

I love looking at them though, some of them are works of art. Lot's of my friends are still bikers, one has an old Vincent amongst other bikes (do I sound like I know what I am talking about? ). I go to a lot of classic car meets (cars are my thing) and there are always lots of nice bikes, I can see the appeal.

What is a skutch?

Also, what is it about bikers keeping them in their living rooms?
