Frank I know you went living in Preston, and your old local was the Oak Tree root which is now a shop.
Do you ever go and watch the canal barges going up the locks after they have crossed the Ribble

I follow some canal boaters on YouTube and its interesting to see them on there travels, my favorite one is Foxes Afloat
