I think that you are completely missing the point.

ie Trying to 'explain' antisemitism as due to either Jewish Deicide, or the consequences of the Jewish Revolt and their their subsequent treatment by Rome, - does not fit with the historical facts that examples of persecution are apparent PRIOR to such events.

Peter, I fully accept the point you make, but in this case, is there much more to it than that?
