Whups

There's a piece in today's Times about the big gas and oil companies deliberately keeping away from fracking in the UK because of the adverse publicity they believed it would generate. Hence a two bit operation like Cuadrilla stepping into the breach.They have expressed concern, however, that on very cold days with little wind blowing the UK depends almost entirely on oil and gas for power generation.At present it isn't a problem because the world is awash with gas.
