I have a pet elephant called Jumbo
he likes to walks in the park,
but people object to his roamings
so we go out at night, when its dark,

He's a big lad and eats all the scrap food
that others leave on the paths
the crusts and the chips and the pizzas
what they buy from the various caffs

but this time of year he won't go out
cos the banging of fireworks he fears
he had a bad experience one Autumn
that left him pain that brought tears

some lads bought a rocket from asda
and placed it in Jumbo's long trunk
then asked him to aim it up skywards
then they scampered away like a skunk,

The rocket it hisssed and it took off
and burned Jumbos face and he's eyes
the lads were laughing and drinking
thier beer and their Asda meat pies

and thats were their fun all ended
as Jumbo moved in without a sound
and trampled their bodies together
and they were buried, deep in the ground

So lads when you setting off bangers
and frighting the neighbourly pets
just remember the story of Jumbo
and an elephant never forgets
