I haven't a clue what happens to your daylight 'trankelments' brigade.
I can only comment on the ones I've seen sleeping in doorways in Standishgate, I think they are the same one's mentioned in the two links I posted reporting record numbers of rough sleepers in the Wigan area, unless of course they are completely wrong as well, and there as never ever been a rough sleeper in a Wigan shop doorway as you'd have us believe!
