Dostaf and dustaf carol singing. Wondered where he /they had got to. Merry Christmas from one loony to the other loonies.
On reflection maybe it caterwauling not carol singing

No, Just the one you often refer to on here.
I don't know about the other, or where you live, or what you may or may not have on your computer.
But any more lip, and I'll summon a consti-bule.
Loved the rebuke you gave the mester, by the way
Maybe he'll manage to keep he soggy end down during his recouperation. (- O)
Assuming he's back on solids.

Oops, It was 'chey end'
'And I hope Joseph get's the chewy end of the Turkey!'
Typiing of solids:
I heard lumpy trumps would be most welcome in his trouserage lately.
Lumpy trump = more favourable viscosity, not an person.

A question...is recouperation a made up word meaning to get back something via a scam or wheeze?

I was just visited by the 'Ghost of Christmas Past'.
He had an extraordinary amount of socks with him.

If you paid attention you would know about the mester's wheeze. This contributes to the swallowing of sicked up bits.
Serves the sod right, bragging about having fruit in the bowl when no one was ill.

Wouldn't surprise me at all.
It's the way he was brought up. He once ( probably more than once knowing him) mentioned having the fruitbowl, complete wit fruit, on the end of the sideboard nearest the front door. Which, incidentallly, was left open, so that passers by could see the display.

Probably gives a good inverted snobbery account of how "we had nowt, but were happy etc" too.

We were so poor, the maid used to have to dry her hands on the the butler's coat tails.

If poor caroling's of concern, I suggest a pair of kippers on your Christmas fishlist, Erontquay. Happy Christmas!
