Good day SUNSHINE !

Started by: britboy (6794)

52F and glorious sunshine, snow nearly all gone and siping a hot coffee at the side of Lake Superior, doesn't get any better in the northwoods

Except.....that I've just taken Mrs britboy into hospital for a stress test, some murmurings in the chest that need checking out, better safe than sorry.
Then joy of joys, my turn Monday, PSA test results starting to rise, so it's check the plumbing to see if I need a new ball cock fitting

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da

Well...Mrs britboy had an abnormal stress test and stays in hospital , heart catheterisation tomorrow

Probably put a stent in depending on what they find.

It is what it is , better to catch it all early, certainly better than the alternative

Out of silent running for a minute....they are doing the catheterisation today,
There appears to be a bigger sense of urgency and a time slot came open, so its onward .

FORWARD —————>

Thankyou for all your kind thoughts and concern

Mrs britboy done good

Last night they found a 99% coronary artery blockage commonly know as the "widdow maker" , fix her up with a stent, all worked out fine and she will be back home today

The ironical part about it all, her brother who lives in Illinois some 700 miles away was also having a stent put in the same day and we didn't know!
He's doing good to

Soooo round one won, onward to Monday for me.

That is brilliant news britboy.. so happy for you both and Mrs Bs brother..

Wow, how weird is that though, Mrs B and her brother having the same thing done at the same time...

Just need to get you sorted on Mon and all will be well..

It was a good call on our GP's part to get the ball rolling, he move away from indegestion very quickly and the surgeon to lift the level of urgency

be there for you too.x

The usual examination

The doctor didn't seem to bothered at present, he wants me back in six week and have a new PSA test so that he can check if there's any change over that period, if so then it biopsy time.

Just have to play it by ear, thankyou for asking.

p.s. Mrs britboy is doing great, has to attend cardiac rehab, we are already out walking to get some excercise in plus change of diet, take the bull by the horns

Sorry I haven't got back before now,, I was thinking about you and Mrs britboy, but I had a Massive Senior Moment the other day and got shut out of WW, I can't believe how stupid I was, but Hey Ho, it hit me what I had done wrong, and I am back in now.. I can have a laugh about it now....but I didn't half feel daft when I realized what I'd done..

So pleased all is going well for Mrs britboy and hopefully yourself.. I will keep you both in my prayers...

Hey...seniors are entitled to senior moments, it's called "rites of passage" for surviving and growing old, we earned it

I got good vibrations last night

My Fitbit buzzed on my wrist to tell me I'd gone over my goal of 10,000 steps yesterday, another milestone on the road to better health
