I so often heard after finding the cause of equipment going faulty..."is that all it was?"
It happened again today, the customer stands around for three days scratching his head, control unit open, not getting anywhere, then he phones me and asks if I can talk him through the problem on the phone???
How do I know what the problem is until I look at it ??? I'm no clairvoyant!!
The truth is the customer doesn't want to pay for a callout!
As it works out the control unit is ok, a safety limit had burned out and of course stopping the machine...."is that all it was! " !!!!!!

Should be used to it by now after many years but if it was that simple why call me out in blizzard conditions, I would have gladly stopped at home in the warmth.
