Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers

Started by: ruddy duck (inactive)

Not a great deal being said on here about the poor results which has resulted in both teams being at the wrong end of the table.

Should be a interesting game at the DW Stadium a week on Saturday.

You have been saying in a sarcastic way for the past two years ducky when the tics were fighting relegation and bolton were more or less safe that the local derby looked in danger watching your **ap on sunday you may be right

Check out who Bolton have played and who the Latics have played. I think I would rather be in Bolton's shoes than Wigan's...

Only proves that there is now two divisions within a division in what is called the Premiership.

Surely it is time for a rethink on the composition of the Premiership and the other Divisions.

Ruddy,
How would you change the current Premier League set-up. I agree it is a division within a division but the "lesser" clubs in there rely on the big clubs visits to generate income.

Dafty, football isn't RL where promotion and relegation is decided in the board room.

Stick to RL kid, your posts on the beautiful game are an embarrassment.

There will be more on than the last local derby game played at the DW and it costs more. Nothing against the warriors but why does a rugby fan start a thread about latics v Bolton?

Sorry Jay, but the board always decides who is going to be bought and sold at the "poorer" clubs in the premiership. These are the clubs that are the bottom of the pile in the premiership and rely on lower class players, just like rugby..

Nor does Wolverhampton, Liverpool, Manchester, but you don't whinge about them. Grow up

don't think he's trolling, trolling is original, and funny. This is just boring, and repetitive

well said tom and then he gets upset and starts coming out with statements about people that he cant back up,like others on here, and then ruins it,again like others on here

This is a Wigan sports board and Bolton Wanderers as no place on it.

well why dont you and the other latics "supporters" comment on the latics then.........or have you nothing to say because they lost again

baker boy

Before you talk about relegation, I suggest you digest the following:-

Games so far,

Wanderers have played 6 games against clubs which are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th, 10th.

Latic's have played 6 games against clubs which are 2nd, 6th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th.

A long way to go yet, and a indicator of true form will be the game at the DW on the 15th.

Got your ticket yet?

Got mine and will be in the North Stand. Come on, you Wanderers.

The Whites' injury and suspension list is almost half the length of the squad list and they've lost six on the bounce but they're not the only worries.

The all-too evident disintegration of team-spirit is just as bad if not worse and we haven't seen that since Phil Neal's days 20 seasons back.

Shouldn't be a time to worry, so early in the season; but we are.

Nevermind, we'll be there on the 15th and a good day out will be had whatever t'result.
COYWM.
