Latics V City

Started by: rio caroni (5077)

Just watched the first half on Football First, no atmosphere whatsoever. Please note this is not a criticism of Latics more a go at the 40,000 City fans, what do they want as they have played some cracking football

Tom,
If you like football just watch it,some very talented players in both teams, but as expected City have started to take benefit from their vast outlay!
City are very good to watch, but having viewed the Utd performnce earlier technically they have the edge!
I don't think Liverpool are anywhere near both Manchester teams standards, and Chelsea might just be ok this year.

Clubs like the Latic's and Bolton now have no chance.

Time for a revamp of the Premiership in accordance with the Gartside plan?

Now too many clubs for the number of spectators who now watch the game compared with years ago.

Why do you think that many are in financial trouble.

Lower league ones?!

I think some clubs are in debt because they spend more than their incomes..

Same reason a lot of RL clubs are struggling.

Shoue,
You are paranoiac, and can't see wood for the trees!
Ruddy duck has said the Gartside plan, which incidentally has some merits, should be adopted by the premier league!
His proposal which obviously you havn't taken the time to find out about has a very similiar structure on set up, to the NRL(australia)Super league(GB) and NFL (USA) in that there is no relegation from these bodies!
Jay made a legitimate comparison ,but knowing his track record people like you don't see the reason for his comment as being anything other than inflammatory

totally outplayed yesterday but i don't think we'll be the last team to get hammered at eastlands this season, think united still have the edge over city, rooney and hernandez will cause city's back four a good few problems
