Wembley?

Started by: rio caroni (5077)

Looking at the stadium tonight, well short of a capacity crowd. Considering two home nations playing, I wonder if the economy is beginning to infringe into football. Talking in the pub the other day about Newcastle having 10,000 short of capacity last week whether the bubble is about to burst. People only have so much money to spend and when you look at the prices at some grounds it makes you realise that football is not untouchable. Just a genuine thought, not an anti football rant

I wonder what the price of a ticket was tonight plus i'm sure an evening midweek fixture will have put off many of the England fans living north of Birmingham.

fossil there were tickets on offer for £10, don't know how many. The £65 tickets were for the Royal Box, majority of tickets were in £30 to £40 bracket. Sorry for trying to be helpful to football fans

Advert in a Daily paper, if you would care for a slight wager we could take it further. Anyway what was the score 1-0 last I saw, like I said not overly interested
