With Warrington closing in on 1000 points scored for the season, I was wondering what the record is for this ?
Also for lowest points against ?

Steve I have googled and googled but I can't find it. There will be someone cleverer than me who will find out.

in 1994/95 wigan scored 1148 points from 30 games, which breaks down as 38.26 points per game and conceded 386 (12.86pg)

at present Warrington are scoring 40.58 points per game and conceding 15.20 per game.

First team todo it S.L. was Saints 1999...scoring 1034 pts from 30 games
Followed by Bradford in 2000,with 1004 from 28
Then Bradford again 2001,1120 from 28
2004 Leeds, 1037 from 28
2005,Saints, 1028
Leeds 1152
Bradford 1038

And not until this season has it done since

You will be surprised to see that in the S.L. era,Wigan had the best defence in 7 out of the first 8 seasons

The first 2 seasons were only 22 games and their points against were 326, and 398
Then in a 23 game season 222 pts against
Their best was in 1999,with 390 against in 30 games, and this is the best up to now....any clearer steve
