Come on - don't be mean - they was beatin us proper in the first half. They cocked up in the last couple of minutes and the lovely Nani took advantage.

It was a good match - second half better though Nice to see the new signings have settled in - especially Ashley Young and Phil wotsisname - like the look of that Cleverley as well.

The Sheik needs to buy about 10000 more fans in case they get to Wembley again in the next 35 years!

Saw a report recently fp where it showed more Utd fans have a Manchester postcode than City fans, as a proportion of their stadiums capacity, but that wont get a mention because it doesn't fit the stereotype that "no Utd fans come from Manchester"

This from a guy who doesn't go to any game, at any place, whether he has a connection to or lives in that place.

Surely the point dear boy is you should start going to a game yourself before preaching who, where and when!

United= supported to the North and West of the city with supporters on the old Altrincham railway line and Chorlton bus routes with a little enclave in Newton Heath...City=south and east of the city between Oldham road and Princess Parkway

Stockport is not a town it's a train station with a big bridge and a small shopping precinct...and anyway if it was a town it would be a RUGBY town with a team they borrowed
