ENGLAND RUGBY UNION - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED !
What the heck is the English Rugby Union thinking about ?
I refer to the BLACK jersey they are taking with them to the Rugby World Cup.
Yes ! I live in New Zealand - the home of the MIGHTY ALL BLACKS - N.Z. wears and as always worn the BLACK JERSEY - why are the English Rugby Union trying to copy the ALL BLACKS ? have they not got an original thought in there head ?????

What does it matter,it's only a shirt.maybe it's just a wind up

Never mind it's only a shirt, more to the point it's only rugby union. Can't imagine anybody in Wigan gives a toss

I see your point Dennis but when you have players from all sport's, representing Australia then play for Ireland, New Zealand then play for England and you can list many more it's all about making money these day's the fact is it is probably down to marketing and they are hoping to make a lot of money out of it.

rebian - I think it is a battle of the GIANTS ! The giants being the shirt makers.
The All Black shirt is made by Adidas.
The England shirt is made by Nike.
So basically it is Adidas v Nike.

Well they obviously won't be wearing black when they play New Zealand,..... So whats your problem
Replied: 3rd Aug 2011 at 04:23
the All Black strip is to be the second strip of England
and the second strip of New Zealand is.........All White
How dare they!
and Rio your flippant comment shows an acute lack of understanding of the Rugby Union fraternity in the surrounding Wigan District - Aspull, Leigh, Orrell, Wigan, Newton, all running a number of teams and junior sections.
and by the way I for one DO give a toss!

ps dont knock a sport until you have tried it. You do not have to play sport to have an opinion. Ive known people who have been good players who talk a lot of crap about the games they played, but that is my own opinion, they probally think i talk crap. Every body is entitled to an opinion if you have played a sport or not.

I used to hate Cheese and now I love it but I find RU the most boring thing, especially after I TRIED it and went to Edge Hall Road to (TRY) to watch a game and hated every minute. Personally I do not know a single person who has the least interest in the other code but if you enjoy it so be it, although personally I still don't give a TOSS

I am with rio on this one, Rugby yawnion is one boring sport, far too much time wasted by stupid rucks and mauls, and penalty kicks ,how many games do you see that finish 24-18 or the like and then find out that all the points are from penalty kicks, I find that League players are invariably Fitter, Faster, and far more skilful than yawnion players, the main difference between the codes being that in League the players handle the ball, and in yawnion the crowd handle the ball.you may have gathered by now that I am another one who doesn't give a toss.
