The Wigan people certainly haven't turned up at the DW tonight.Although the M6 and M61 seemed busier,it's a good job the out of town support have shown up.

Castleford take the lead,i hope the Worriers don't blow it tonight.

Personally i think Cas had a try disallowed that i'd have given with the benefit of the doubt and i'd have chalked one of the Wigan tries off for obstruction.

A good two points considering that we were without two props, Pat Richards, injuries during the game and a Referee who decided that he had to keep up the poor standard of refereeing that is a blght on the game.

And for the record, the Castleford supporters did us the honour of providing around 100 or so in the gate of 13,000 plus.

as regards the match it would appear that Mr Matterson was less than enamoured with Wigan.The match officials, and the R.L,bosses.he claims that wigan asked for this date and got it, also Cas had 11 players out, and two more injured during the match, also that the disallowed try by Ferres should have stood, so the cards were heavily stacked in wigans favour,Matterson had wanted the fixture later this month but was told that the stadium wasn't available,and then he said that the ground should always be available, the Cas ground he says is apparently not up to scratch but as he points out it is always available.and your ground should be available at all times, the R.L.bosses of course will take no notice of Mattersons complaint.as their opponents are one of the protected species.

a controversial decision from video ref phil bentham left the warriors with enough breathing space in a dramatic clash. brett ferres appeared to have at least done enough to get the benefit of the doubt and a cas try then would have set up a grandstand finish,BUT bentham ruled it out and the warriors held on.

warriors coach maguire said : somtimes you get calls like that, it was an ugly one for us, we made a meal of the first half but we were LUCKY to get the win.

seems wigan are getting plenty of strange decisions of late,hope their luck carries on, only two hard games left now, both warrington, if they win them both should do the double.

peawapp it does bring the worst out of you when them wigganers win.why not support them and you could give some compliments to the wigan supporters

As for the match, we've had 2 below pat performances but grafted hard to win them. That shows great spirit. Good crowd on for a Wednesday night also

Some of the travelling support this year have been dreadful. A Wednesday night match against the champions isn't going to bring many from a depleted Cas though.

In a word "NO"

I watched the origin match yesterday morning and to be perfectly honest if I was watching that every week I would be delighted!
There were some fantastic athletes in the match and Inglis must be up there as one of the finest!
I don,t think Sam Tomkins would get away with his sideways movement in that class of rugby.

The Castleford team actually was only missing six players from what would have been their regular first team selection of seventeen.

Wigan also had three players missing in Coley, Prescott and Richards
