From what I gather, many supporters are not happy that Wigan are playing in a third choice charity shirt instead of their normal Cherry Red and White home shirts and Hull KR are playing in their home shirt of Red and White!

blatent kick into touch by burgess & scrum given to hull kr & burgess rightly sin binned for a flop after the tackle was complete & leading with the shoulder to the head yet another rightly sin bin offence . that ref gave wigan very little & even with 12 men it still needs the other team to capitalize .

GB - Wigan chose to play in their third kit on Friday, which supports the ‘Brick Charity’ hence KR were able to don their home strip – and nothing controversial about either sin-bin decisions – both correct

Brilliant game with great comeback by Wigan mastered by French; just a pity we’ve not got an equally good scrum half to play alongside him

The problem at Wigan is that they now have two good scrum haves in Smith and Farrimond, but the decision on who is the best to fill the position rests with Matt Peet and his coaching staff irrespective of any opinion of we supporters.

Evidently, they are happy with the present holder of the number seven position!

Thank you very much for your kind information concerning the wearing or choice of shirts ,i have to own up and admit i did not know that ,and apologise for my ignorance , Having put that to bed , I too also agree with you that the genius that is BEVAN FRENCH ,words are not enough and yes could you imagine a half-back pairing the like of a , SHAUN EDWARDS & ANDY GREGORY , a similar one to partner FRENCH !!!!!WOW NOW THAT would blow anyone away . bye have a nice day!!

With the number of top referees and who are also acting as touch judges now in the game, there is no reason why a match or video referee of today should in charge of any game involving their home town club.

The reason iy is happeninng is because of former referee Steve Ganson moaning about not getting a cup final at Wembley when Saints were in a number of finals at the time he was refereeing.
