peter g here's a quick tale about why folk are reticent when it comes to discussing sport or anything else seriously within ear shot of the "SITE MURDERER".
I once relayed a story to him (in one of his more agreeable moments, few and far between I know ) on here and it involved me wearing a pair of junior Doc Martin boots (I was 10 at then time).
He was pleasant enough on that occasion and I thought no more of it.
At least half a dozen times since he has mention those boots in a derogatory fashion in an attempt to use them as some kind of stick to beat me with.
Then he wonders why folk on here won't give him the time of day
