I used to see the headline on the back page every week Lee Won Pen and didn't realise he wasn't a Chinaman until I saw him on The Big Match one Sunday afternoon when I was 11

Three outstanding City players who fully deserved to have statue like Best, Law and Charlton.

All from a era, when football was about playing football and not how much money you got for playing!

Three of the above won the European footballer of the year award (I wonder how many times that has happened in the same team) and three didn't no need to name who did and didn't
City again scratching about trying to make some history, Franny Lee really?
You could ask any football fan who watched football in the 60s and 70s to name 100 players who deserved a statue from that era and he wouldn't be on any.

Ashley Young is a serial diver. The internet is full of compilations of his best five dives. Lots to choose from. Roy Keane once called him an "utter disgrace" for his diving in one particular European game. A quick google and you will see most of them.

United living in some folks head rent free, they turn a thread about statues to another clubs players into a debate about United players
And yet it's the same folk who moan about the amount of United content on here.
And one bloke who went out of his way to tell United fans they were on "ignore" is now back on to tell the world how wonderfull it is to have those people on "ignore"
Any chance you can just "ignore" us? (no thought not)

So another qualification to be a fan, you have to be a liar. Why not check things out before you post? Ask one of your buddies to check it out for you.

When Ashley Young went down to win Manchester United a penalty against Real Sociedad, nobody was surprised.

He has a history of diving and has been spoken to by David Moyes and his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson about his bad habit.

Lots more like that on the internet. To say he didn't dive is a complete fabrication which certainly is a disgrace.

So what are you saying Paddy? Are you saying the above is wrong? The above was a quote from the Daily Mail a long while ago. There are lots of videos of him diving. You really are a stupid prig.

The names I mentioned being on a website showing a list of the worse divers ever seen in the game of football.

And no mention on the list of Franny Lee or indeed any City player.

If you type in worst divers it only gives football of late,

Fat franny played for bolton and city a long time ago so he is not considered,

I watched Bolton a few times when he played for them and never saw him dive once , he must of picked the habit up when he signed for city

Franny Lee got the nickname
Lee 1 ( pen ).

He scored the most penalties than anyone in a season ,

Most of what he got for diving.

Paddy,
You would be more at home in the schoolyard with your mate Dim. You are 100% wrong. Young is a diver so don’t start waffling about penalties to save skin. Go and get some fresh air.Spending time alone is affecting you.

Dim,
Was Young a diver? Yes or no. Bear in mind Fergie and Moyes rebuked him for it and Keano said he was a disgrace.

Tiger Cat,
Of course they are all divers. I just cannot fathom how someone can keep saying Young wasn’t when he was right up there with the best of them. Condemned by United managers and ex players alike. To some all United players are Saints.
