So here we are F.A.CUP DAY , how many remember back in the day when it was on BBC only ,and it came on tv at 11.00am Saturday Morning, With camera shot's of fan's walking down Wembley Way , then the silly game' s next like """ It's a knock out "" Then Quizzes ,tv host were KENNETH WOLSTENHOLME//BARRY DAVIES/DAVID COLEMAN/ AAN WEEKS/ALAN PARRY/JOHN MOTSON/STUART HALL/JIMMY HILL/DES LYNAM/ PETER DIMMOCK /These were just a few ,also what i found back then was the KICK OFF WAS ALWAYS 3.00PM just before that was " ABIDE WITH ME "" One could hear it to "" I appreciate thing's and time change but you knew were
you were then ,nowadays kick off's can be Take your pick ,Today it's nearly 5.00pm if a draw and extra time is needed it eats into one going out on a Saturday night . Plus i was brought up on ""The MAGIC OF THE F.A.CUP nowaday's they play all sorts of games on "the hallowed turf "" IT was every player's dream to walk out onto the most famous stadium in the world on that particular day !!! IT still has some charm but not like back then ,so WE ARRIVE AT TODAY'S MATCH 2022 CHELSEA v LIVERPOOL , I SUPPOSE THE BOOKIES HAVE THE POOL TO WIN IT , BUT ONE NEVER KNOWS IN A ONE GAME KNOCK OUT , SO HERE WE ARE MY TIP IS FOR LIVERPOOL TO WIN BY 2 THERE YA HAV IT TO BOTH SETS OF FANS HAVE A GOOD DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!G.B.

It was certainly better than the League Cup final coverage back in the day were you had a bloke reporting from outside Wembley because no one had the rights to show it live

Whups.... I have a great dislike of the breed.... never met a good one... the ones I did come into contact with were... car thieves... burglars.... shoplifters... pickpockets... I know there is good and bad in all.... but their accent makes my skin crawl... and any job they get the first thing they ask is.... whats the perks... whats the dodges... whats the scams....

I wonder sometimes how we can call our country the UNITED Kingdom when there is so much prejudice of fellow citizens in other parts of the country and even towns and cities.

I'm still trying to figure out why the Cup Final was screened on BBC and ITV at the same time, we are not all football fans and would have enjoyed some other offering on one of these channels

Might be because, there are now no good entertainment programmes or good films on the BBC and ITV on a Saturday Night like there used to be a few years ago.

No wonder there are now more food pubs and restaurants.
