Started by: GOLDEN BEAR (6556)

Watching the rugby this afternoon great match but it was constantly being interrupted by a bloody woman jabbering on ,why oh why do we have to have women commentators on men's sports isn't there ample women's sport's to commentate on with out spoiling it for us ,so guess what the volume get being turned off when she started blabbing on ,so tv companies put these women on their own sport's channels ... Presumably she was coloured and LGBTQ. As long as you fit the above criteria no knowledge of the sport is required.

I watched a film where a UK police sergeant pulled a cameraman up, twice. First for referring to a policewoman as "that policewoman" followed by referring to her as "that female officer".

"She should be referred to simply as an officer", said the sergeant!

And there i lies the problem. Too busy watching what they say to solve crimes. Why do the press have to fall in line. Someone the other day decided he/she/it was binary. He then refers to himself as they. Why do newspapers fall for that rubbish?

I presume you are talking about Noli Waterman retired former
England international...who I would have thought knows a lot more
more about RU than anyone who posts on here

Totally agree, GB.

There is one on Five Live that has the most annoying of accents.

Women's football and women involved in making serious commentary on the men's game is a NO GO.

Sorry.

When one cast's their mind back to the day's of Andy Grey Richard Keys when they were commentators for sky sports ,alas Andy made an off the cuff remark which back then was mild by today's standards and was summarily dismissed and his friend Richard stood by him was also dismissed my point is from that time everything has gone tits up !! Nowadays you cannot watch anything on tv sport where it is shall i put male orientated without there now being a female included .I have no axe to grind about females but i think females should commentate on female sport and let men commentate on male sport quite simple isn't it?? because these days women compete in all area's of sport , soccer/rugby union /league / /cricket/ so why not stick to the gender of their own sport ,as it would help having to keep switching the volume on/off when i hear them ..
