Talking of Betfred I see the bloke who took them to court when he won £1.7 Million on their online casino and they told him he hadn't actually won and that it was an "hardwear glitch" and tried to fob him off with 60 Grand has had the case found in his favour.
Those bookies will take your money all day long but when people start winning regular they will close the account or try allsorts not to pay out big.

Betfred should be boycotted by everyone in the country who read that.

I agree re betfred.
Pleased that the punter has won his case against them.
I recall my pal, who was traveling head lad for a top Newmarket trainer ,telling me his boss had to employ others to get his sovs on because the bookies had closed his phone account .
The particular trainer was very astute and rarely got it wrong re his wagers .

Hello mr Grimshaw being an ardent golf player ( was ) but an avid fan i cant wait for it to start my all time hero is JACK NICKLAUS i was hooked way back when on bbc there was a programme called the big three, included jack ,gary player, arnold palmer after watching that i took up trying to play the game , as for this year i do have a strong fancy for LEE WESTWOOD he has got his son to caddie for him ,so there may be something magical in that as did when jack won a jacket he had his son caddie for him also. MR G do you remember the 1986 maters when jack won ,is son was his caddie what a round that was stay safe G.B.

Jack was a superb golfer and a complete sport G B.
You will no doubt recall the ryder cup at birkdale back in the day when jack conceeded a tricky putt to jacklin which made the match all square .
Apperently at the handshakes he told jacklin he didnt think he would miss it .
A true sportsman.
My fav golfer was the late great Seve.
No one but no one stood at address better than Seve .
I tried to copy like a fool ,thinking it would be easy ,but never mastered it .
Good luck with your masters bet G B.
Warm wishes to you and yours .

Whilst things can quickly change the majority of the names mentioned above appear to be struggling after the 1st round. It will be interesting to see whether they start to come up on the rails or perhaps if Justin Rose's first round turns out to be a flash in the pan.

A lot of golf to play before Sunday so anything can happen.
My selects are all struggling after the first round which is disappointing but no bother .
Rory owes me nothing . I know he is at odds with his swing and game in general but I have won lot of sovs on him before now and will always punt him in any tourney .
Hope its good veiwing come sunday evening .
Good luck everybody with their wagers .

Good points you raise G B.
Rory will come back .No doubt about it .Other young british players will also take centre stage in world golf in the next few years .
Young fitzpatrick from sheffield will be a future top top player i reckon .

Hi there me again just been reading up on the young mr .fitzpatrick on Wikipedia and may i say he does have the look and the promise to become an outstanding golf player ,i also note that he has taken up residency in Florida that i believe will enhance his game and prospects so here's hoping we might have a younger Nick Flado/Tony Jacklin one can only hope ..G.B.
