Ive just read how the berties can get tax dodger lionel to the emptihad.
I do hope that for the sake of transperancy UEFA keep a weather eye on this given the berties past record .
The transfer of K D B to the berties from wolfsburg is under scrutiny i understand .
RULE 1 .Never trust the berties .
RULE 2 .Never forget rule 1 .

YOU CAN SMELL THE JEALOUSY... grimshaw can you explain why the "biggest" "richest" "bestest" club in the "world" didnt get him?...

UTD didnt want him given the extortionate money and dodgy deals being banded about .
Utd leave the dodgy stuff to a club who are well practised at that, i e the berties .
Its obvious how desperate they are to win the C L next season and what will happen when they fail .AGAIN .
Taxi for Pep .
Taxi for pep.

desperation? what like paying sanchez 300,000 a week to play for somebody else...

That isnt desperation .
Its common sense if things dont work out .
How much will lionel cost the berties each week.?
They are so deluded in thinking he will be the messiah who will bring the C L trophy to east M C ..

Grim said "UTD didnt want him"

That old chestnut!

They "never wanted" any player who either snubs them or never wanted to go to them in the first place.

Just like every player they ever signed dreamt about wearing the jersey as a kid. Embarrassing.

BTW, it's the press and twitter who had him linked with City. City kept a dignified silence.

As LG said desperation is signing Sanchez just to keep him away from City to try to stay relevant then paying him a fortune not to play for trafford when he snubs them.

IT WONT HAPPEN . he,s using city to get a better deal with barca.

You are right, it probably won't happen but it is incorrect to suggest that he us using City to get a better deal at Barca on two points.

1) He hasn't used City as City haven't given any indication that they want him at all and his father said that he hasn't spoken to City about a possible transfer. This has all been claimed through twitter and social media.

2) He is probably using his exit from Barca (irrespective as of where he wanted to go to) as leverage to get rid of Bartomeu and the current board not a new deal.

Either way, the worldwide publicity City have enjoyed by being linked with him is great news for City and their profile in world football, whether he comes or not.

Quite comical that a club that has spent Billions in the last decade trying (and failing miserably) to win the biggest club competition in the world still needs 'publicity' for their 'profile'.

Equally comical chatty is the continuous denial by oyears that the berties are not in the slightest bothered about the C L.
Of course we all know thats a load of old rollocks .
They are desperate to win it .
Thats why pep was engaged .

It's nonsense but suits your agenda to believe that.

Anyhow, if it helps you to sleep at night whilst you nod off clinging to your Sanchez rag doll (pun intended) then fill your deluded boots.

Surprise surprise, much ado about nothing!
Once it was fully explained to Lionel that there was actually another football club in Manchester (No shame there most folk in the world have never heard of them either) and it wasn't United....... what's the Spanish for "cluck that"?

TC, there are muppet supporters of every team who have high expectations which do not come to pass.

In fact there are some on this site who have been saying for years now that they are going to win the league every season following the appointments of a succession of failed managers and players. And we all know how that has turned out don't we? Eight years now is it?

There aren't enough eggs in a chicken farm to cover the trafford faces on here.

We're "not bothered" "aren't interested' "couldn't care less about"
winning it.

Do those replies look familiar?
Do they sound any less feeble and ridiculous as when you post them? .

PS We have won it 20 times so it isn't really our Holy Grail.

LG

I see the site trouble maker has replied to you, but then again,
Eeyore, Eeyore, Ee always does.

On a more serious note, it's always easy to have a go at each other's clubs but fair play to trafford for supporting a charity with a common ethos.

Yes and I agreed with you that it wouldn't happen, but there is nothing to suggest that Messi has been offered a better deal..........yet. He seems very disenchanted with Barca at the minute but that could change in March with the election of a new president.

He has only been told he has to stay for one more year, or more to the point eight more months.

As I previously said, it would be nice to see him at City because of the profile. Even next season when he is 34 I would give him a 2 year contract and exploit his brand for a couple of years (just like trafford did with ibrahimovic) but if he doesn't arrive, I really don't care.........a bit like winning the european knockout trophy.
