i seem to remember some cummings from around repton street

i used to know Marie from way back in the 60s.

hi derek71,I dont speak to marie,it's a big family and we dont really see any of them,my dad's one of the youngest ones so he had nothing in common with any of them.His name is alan.

I know Marie Cummings. She is my 'illegitimate mother' who disowned me when I was 8 years old.

and i know Alan Cav brian glen claire Helen all the family my mum and mrs cummings use to go to jumble sales together and my grandma use to talk on the corner with mrs cummings on a friday after the house work was done it was Mrs Cummings who told my grandma that they were taking names for school and that was me at school when I was 4years old Marie is the same age has me 58yrs I often wonder how she was I think she got married young

You want to asked your Jimmy about the time we went on a fishing trip with Higher Ince fishing club. They all stopped at my house as not to miss the coach. Col Holcroft came with about five of us. First mistake The coach parked right outside of a pub. In the back garden was some lovely big Apple trees. Col Holcroft had is eye on the Apples as soon as we got of the coach. We only did about an hour fishing and Col had vanished. So off we goes we knew were he would be. Sure enough he was up the Apple tree but the landlord had come out with a big Alsatian and cached him. Well Col would not come down the tree. and he stuttered very badly when excited. He was shouting he would not come down till the landlord took is dog indoors. Soon as the landlord got the dog indoors Col was out the tree like a bat out of hell in his hurry to escape he ran straight through the blokes wooden fence flattening it. A hour later when the pub opened we all went in. The landlord spotted Col and accused him of stealing his apples and flattning his fence. Col stuttered out you must be mistaken Iv,e been fishing all day. The landlord gave him a pint for being such a bad liar.

hi Linda i went to Spring View school with my twin sister Pauline we lived in Spring Street we left school in 1963 my sister though sadley passed away 13 yrs ago.
