His name is Warren Green and his wife's name was Julie, I'm sure I've read it somewhere that he had been released and he is now living somewhere down south. They were both very nice people to talk to and were both very active leaders at St Michael's scouts so at the time it was hard to believe what had really happened. It was a very sad and traumatic time for both families.

Remember the case very well. I was a drinking buddy of his dad, John who was also a Wigan solicitor at the time. It pretty much destroyed him!

i went to school with his dad, warren was released about five years ago as far as i can remember, he almost got away with it only for having her keys and hiding them in a drainpipe belonging to the undertaker where he dumped the poor girls body.

Dr Wat. Life assurance will pay out in the event of murder. It just won't be paid to the murderer as you cannot profit from crime.

my meaning being if the police could,nt prove his guilt they must pay out,was that the motive for the poor girls death.
