latham's

Started by: xrh59 (inactive)

[UPDATED AGAIN] Looking for any Latham's from wigan who had a step brother called Joe Keogh from scholes. One brother may have been a petty officer in the Royal navy thier father was Christopher latham.Joe keogh went to live in Kent after the war where he stayed untill his death in 1997.His mother Elizabeth keogh married Albert scott and his other step siblings were Albert,Mary, frank,Patricia,Winnie,Michael and Joan, they lived in Cambridge street scholes until the late 60's.Any help with finding the Lathams would be a great help,Many thanks.Christopher Latham we think married a woman called Elizabeth Ann Houghton in 1925,After WW1 Christopher was a superintendant of armouries (not a clue what this is)but it sounds like something to do with the MOD.Thanks once again.

Hi freeway, this is what i know of Christopher Latham so far he was born in 1894/5 mother Ellen(scottish) father James.Christopher married Elizabeth Ann
Houghton in 1925 then married Ellen Waters in 1949 aged 54 a widower. My cousin has sent me a marriage cert from Kent where they live from the 1949 marriage and one of the witness's is
H. Latham could be Henry? My cuz says that
a man in the navy came to visit them in Kent in about 1959/60 but they where not in and she thinks this was her dads step brother.Have you any idea where he lived
before he died and the year he died.It sounds very much like the C.Latham we are after,My cuz is desperate to find out about her Grandfather so any help would be great.Thank you so much for your replies.
