Evans family Hindley Green

My great grandma Annie lived at 2,Green Bank in the 1870s onwards. I am hoping for school records and for her father Alfred,a Cashier at Kirkpatricks Mills,a photo of the mill and hopefully a photo of their home.
Any other info,would be gratefully received. My fingers are very firmly crossed. Tony

Hi Tony,
Don't know if you are aware but Grave C 6 - 22 C of E in Hindley Cemetery contains the remains of three people that died at no. 2, Green Bank, Hindley Green, namely -
John Evans, Died 1886, aged 17 years
Alfred Evans, Died 1893, aged 52 years
Mary Jane Evans, Died 1895, aged 51 years

There is an headstone.

Thanks.I did find that new bit of info.last night from this site..I think a journey up to HG is called for ,probably next year. Tony
