Kate McCartney St James's Poolstock

In St James's church, there is a memorial to Kate McCartney who was head mistress of Poolstock Infant School for 43 years and died in May 1929. Her husband was Robert Hyslop McCartney and they had a daughter Mary Constance McCartney. I think Robert and Mary were also teachers and they are all buried in Ince Cemetery. Does anyone have any information about the family please? Thank you very much.

Hello and thanks so much for that. Robert moved to Wigan from Scotland - wonder why?!
