True guitar hero, watched him at Manchester Apollo last June and he was brilliant.

Yes, he was a great guitarist and entertainer, going way back.
I think he had origins in the Yardbirds or associated with that era. His early albums had Rod Stuart on vocals. I particularly liked his Beck, Bogart and Appice band.
