St. Pats school colours
Does anyone out there remember Pats school rugby colours ?
Funny what you think about on lockdown. Been watching rugby on u tube, and can remember St. Williams in green and white hoops (?), but cannot for the life of me recall Pats colours.
Can anyone help a decrepit old Wigginer ?

I think thats St. Pats rfc. Its the school colours I was trying to remember. There is a black and white photo in " sports ", showing light shirts with a darker horizontal band. Does that ring any bells ?

Just looked on schools section in albums, they look like dark shirts. There's one in sports of the school team in 1968/69 in dark shirts. There must be somebody on hear who remembers.

The one in the sports section is St Pats RFC, second row left. Grand slam, showing Maccy and the junior school team. Its bugging me that I cant remember my old schools colours. Roll on the end of lockdown !

If you go to albums, then sports, then scroll to St Patricks RFC, Photo number 17, bottom left, is the 1968/69 school team with Mr Hurst, they're in dark shirts.

Tuddy,
Got it. Thanks for that, that is the team I remember. When this thing is over, I will treat myself to a black jersey for old times sake. Thanks again, good fun this trip down memory lane.

hilly, there used to be some old shirts displayed in St Patricks rugby clubhouse, I can't remember if there's any school team shirts though.

I think John McDermott was the teacher and referee.

It more than likely would have been John McDermott, he was rugby mad.
