The name sounds familiar but I'm afraid that I cannot put a face to him at the moment. Thanks for the effort, Roy.

Thanks, NJ. I seem to remember that Geoff had a brother called Phil??? Not sure now. But Geoff always insisted that his surname was Broadbelt.

I will check him out nevertheless. Many thanks.

Jud, can you supply more info please. Thank you. I know you knew our Ronnie.

Phil Broadbelt worked at Heinz on nights in the spice prep area. He was a lovely and friendly chap and a great worker. If memory serves me correctly he did have some health issues.

Thanks to both.

I seem to remember that Jeff had a younger brother called Philip, but Jeff was my age, 72. My how the memories fade or play tricks. He had an older sister, Sheila, that, I do remember.

Thanks again, all.

I lived on The Green and remember Jeff Broadbent but I've lived in Doncaster for 30 odd years. Remember your name too, did you live at the top of Helvellyn Rd? I don't remember him being called Broadbelt.

Yes, I lived at the top of Helvellyn Rd and Jeff lived at the very top house, number 76.
