Yes, The Black Bull is still open, it's one of the few remaining pubs in Scholes. I'm not sure who has it now, but I remember Jimmy having it, he must have been one of the longest serving landlords in Wigan.

think he lives in brook house flats , not sure ?? they did live in malta but came back to wigan .
