Red Rose FM event at the Three Sisters late 80s

I think I've probably mentioned this before at some point in the past, but does anyone know anything about an event that was held at the Three Sisters Race Curcuit by Red Rose 301 FM radio station and what year this was?. All I know is that is was in either 1989 or very early 1990 (I'd say no later than March 90), but I've no idea what the radio station where doing there. A few soap actors where there like Bill Roach, Michael LeVell, Sean Wilson and an Emmerdale actor, plus BBC presenter John Craven. Apart from that that's all I know about the event. Did anyone else go to this?. I'm guessing it was mentioned in local newspapers or maybe local news, but finding old newspaper articles about it are difficult unless you subscribe to an online newspaper site, and only one Wigan newspaper (Wigan Observer) seems to be available.

I know the radio station split in June 1990 and became two stations - Red Rose FM and Red Rose Gold, but I'm sure it was earlier than June 1990.

Yes I uploaded that photo a few years ago. I still don't know when exactly it was held but I'm best guess around March/April 1989.
