Every time I switch the computer on, I get about 20 to 30 adverts bobbing out from the bottom left corner.
I click each one off. Then they come from up above.
When I put Wigan World on screen, I have to get rid of an advert at every level.
I don't get it with any other site. I said, "I DON'T GET IT WITH ANY OTHER SITE"!

I use ad blocker plus on google no adverts but sometimesI want to read something and I get a banner to say I have an ad blocker. When this happens I have to use Mic Edge and put up with the adverts

I have an ad blocker and don't see any adverts, but I can't remove the adblocker.

Domin0 put your cursor arrow onto the adblocker sign and right click which opens a column and part of that is how to remove the adblocker from google chrome(in my case)

Thanks Peter and Sonlyme, I still can't get rid of the adblocker, but it doesn't matter the only thing is I can't use some things because I have an adblocker, I was using Chrome when I put the block on, I now use Microsoft Edge and I prefer it to Chrome.

Domin0 I gather you are using chrome - so am I, do you have any problems using Zoom with it? When I am on Zoom the other recipiants get a high pitch sounds from my laptop so have to stay on mute. Would be interested to hear if you have any such issues and if so any suggestions on solving the problem

Hi Berylh, I use Microsoft Edge now, I did use Chrome for quite a long time, but it changed and I didn't like it so I changed to Microsoft Edge and so far it's fine, zoom is easy, Ctrl and +.

Domin0 on google chrome click on the 3dots to open drop down -then click on more tools-then extensions. This will now show ad blocker in a square either click on remove or just move the blue dot to the left. The latter will NOT get rid of ad blocker but will switch it OFF,Once you have finished move the blue dot to the right and ad blocker is up and running again

Peter I've only just seen what you suggested, thanks but I don't use Chrome at all now, and the adblocker doesn't really cause me any major problems also I have had someone who knows a lot more than me and he never could delete the blocker, I expected it would go when I switched to Microsoft Edge.
