Phil Tidmarsh.

Started by: crafty (14)

You may have or may not have seen the front page of last friday's Wigan Evening News and this weeks Observer about Phil "Tiddy" Tidmarsh being killed while cycling in Wilmington. North Carolina if you want to keep a check on how the case is going go to: www.wect.com put in videos Teen Charged or go to www.starnewsonline.com again put cyclist killed. Phil was in one or two groups in this area but emigrated 6 yrs ago he is on the Wigan World ex pats site as well. This 19 yrs old who took Phil's life was on a cocktail of drugs and had numerous offences against his name but the police failed to put him away where he could do no damage hopefully this time they will throw away the key. Whoever knew Phil either from his bands or Mornington High School. Hindley to Hindley ARLFC will know what a nice guy he was that light has now been put out hopefully when we eventually get his ashes back home to England we can give him a good send off at St Wilfreds in Standish. God Bless Tiddy!!!

Years ago I used to know a Mrs Tidmarsh who worked on a stall in the (old) Market Hall. Can she be related to Phil Tidmarsh? It's not a very common name.

What is the betting that the teen has some excuse such as he comes from a broken home or he wasnt breast fed long enough. Hope they do throw the key away

Apparently Mummy and Daddy have plenty money and have hired a top barrister and where sat with him all through the charges brought against him in court yesterday but when you read the forums from various newspaper and tv stations over there this was something waiting to happen sadly it was a guy from Wigan who was in his way. Thanks for the messages posted.

We will be seeing Phils sister Pauline soon and i'll pass on all your regards, she has been in shock, which is understandable as she was close to her brother before he went to America.

del-girl. Stuart and I usually pass work to one another I am the decorator Stuart will tell you the connection. I know Stuart came to the small service we had at St Wilfreds the other week. We cannot arrange the proper service yet because up to yesterday they had still not given Phil's wife the death certificate it's probably because it is big news in the USA or something petty? But it is getting behond a joke we need to get his ahes back to Eangland for everybodies sake especially for his mum and son Mathew.

Sorry to read about your sad loss. Hope justice is done in the end. I used to go to the same school ( Whitley ) with a lady by the name of Pauline Tidmarsh, would she be any relation to Phillip? She would be about 49 years of age.

1934 grandma. Yes Pauline is coming up to the magic 50 there is a party for her next Saturday at the pub/restaraunt she runs in Bury but with what happened to Philip I don't think there will be much celebrating but at least it gets the family together again.
