Immigration Policy

Would you like the freedom of movement option after we leave the EU or should it be restricted? Restriction in terms of protecting jobs here and the pay structures for our workers. I do like the sound of the Aussie points system and it does seem to work for them so why not here, we could select who we want and need for positions, good economics?

The mass immigration into this country is basically how we came to vote to leave the EU because the EU say we have got to let in all EU citizens into our country, so Johnny Foreigner from Syria, Turkey or from wherever, only has to get a passport from an EU country, and he is allowed into good old blighty.

That sounds really racist doesn't it

But we need skilled immigrants to fill jobs we have here vacant, whether that be a doctor or a fruit picker, so when (if) we have left the EU ,, yon foreigners can come and work here, has long as the have a work permit, like they had to do before we joined the EEC in 1973 and up until more recent times, before the EEC became the political EU and was it the

Single European Act

One of those treaties said we had to let EU foreign nationals into the UK and it has over populated us, is that a racist statement or is it a matter of fact

They all say - "Get us out"! "We want our country back"! "We did alright for hundreds of years before the EU, why can't we now"? AND the classic - "We're World Leaders"!
If Britain is so Great why should we need skilled immigrants?
Why aren't we training our own young people to fill these positions? Why are the UK's Universities mainly populated by foreign students? Why do British students take degrees in non-productive subjects like 'Sports Science'?

Get it into your head .... We're NOT going to get our country back, whether we leave the EU or we don't. And, in my opinion, it'll be 'taken over' a lot quicker when we've left!

Because there are millions more people in this country now who need looking after, and there aren't enough British people in the country to look after them, hence we need immigrants to look after the immigrants

Now no one can fault the Poles. They pretty much won the Battle of Britain for us, plus they all work bloody hard when here, and the vast majority go back to P{oland when they have made some money. God bless the Poles.

I won't comment on the non EU Migrants, or at least I will try not to.

I am sure the Poles could be considered the most hardworking of immigrants in recent years.
With many returning back to Poland after having saved enough to get them a foot hold back home?
With your well known disposition on non white people I would have thought the numbers coming from the Indian sub continent would have bothered you more!

Either way the figures appear to show more non EU immigrants than EU.

If they had nothing to gain by coming to the UK, they wouldn't bother coming. The 'Big Bosses' of this World have laid the foundations. Migration cannot be stopped.

UN Marrakesh Conference 'Migration Pact'.

immigration should only be necessary when everyone claiming benefit as got a job.over a million brits out of work.yes of course i recognise that some are unemployable and i am not talking about disabled people .if anydisabled person wishes to work, then special efforts should be made on their behalf.

Corbyn reminds me of Scargill, because they are both Marxists, but it is the way that they both think that their way is the right way, Corbyn is hell-bent on nationalising everything, whatever the cost, and to do it all in a single five-year parliament, because he probably knows that it is the only chance he will get to do it, because by the time of the next general election, the economic situation in the country will be so bad, that he will have no chance of winning that election, so what GOOD will all that do for the country, the stupid left wing pratt, and he has hijacked the Labour Party by using the 'momentum' idiots who have swamped the party membership, it was a koo, the traditional Labour Party members lost their party to a bunch of anarchists.

Scargill had one desire and one desire only, and that was to emulate what the miners did in 1974 and bring down the Tory government, and he did not care what happened to the miners in the process, he twisted the rules around to call the strike, and he had no intention of negotiating, he wanted,,,, and read this because I believe it to be 100% true, he wanted to bring the country to its knees, Scargill wanted to harm this country, he was an anarchist, a nasty piece of work, who did not care how much suffering it caused to the people of this country, it wasn't about the pit closures, it was about anarchy, it was completely and utterly political and for bringing about anarchy in the country, and the miners were 'used' for that end ......

not a proper miner then is he & considering he,s from yorkshire where king arthur got a overwhelming vote in that area your so-called mate probably voted for him like the rest . hypocrite or what .considering it,s now common word that the torys are being sponsored by russian money which is being laundered it,s a bit rich calling anyone marxist when the tory party is propped up by their money ? .and 1stroke the only thing that,s twisted is you as it,s in thatchers memoirs that she instigated the strike in yorkshire to provoke the strike .

"and 1stroke the only thing that,s twisted is you

Well that's good coming from you, there is nobody on here worse than you, for twisting facts around.

I have told you that at the time of the strike I was working in a shop, it was a newsagents and general store, in which miners used to come in first thing in the morning buying cigs and papers on their way to the pit, and later on their wives would be coming in for groceries, I knew loads of miners and their families, I know what they said about it, and as the strike went on and some went back to work I heard both sides of the story, and as I have said miners and their wives would look through the window of the shop, and if there was a miner or his wife in the shop, who had gone back to work, then they would not come into the shop until the other had left.

What were you doing during the strike Whupsy, stood in front of a metal drum with a fire in it, holding a placard and shouting odds,, because I was on the ground mixing with miners on both sides,, and I was in the pubs at night too ...

I saw the suffering that strike caused, first hand, on the ground ...

You were used by Scargill for political purposes only, the pit closures were just an excuse to go to war with the Tories.

Replied: 17th Nov 2019 at 13:10

Whups why are you assuming that everyone is voting for the Tories? You have not an ounce of evidence on this and are using it as an excuse to bum up Labour and it's misfit leader.

By the way Scargill and the miners didn't mind receiving money from the Marxist ruskie's after he went crying to the Kremlin for help then banked the money in Dublin and kept it there for twelve month after the strike had finished, the Welsh and many more miners hated him for that. He also used the miners money he got from Libya to do his bungalow up, the robbing get!

in Oz , the immigration programme is matched with the needs of the economy. Would be migrants need to support themselves , have a job to go to and able to speak English. Then we have the UN imposed refugees , no skills , no money no idea. Our borders are closed to boat people , but the bleeding hearts keep whinging. Most immigrants who came thru the right way support the Government in keeping out Quue jumpers
