I have changed my number plates. Took my personalized plates off and now got 61 plates. When I got my new V5c form there was a leaflet which said no new MOT/TAX forms would be sent out but the existing MOT/TAX would be transferred over to my new plates till the time of renewal. Tried the Mot history link does not recognise either sets of plates

An easy way to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit

1; Double the value
2; Deduct the value of the first digit
3; Add 32

eg 23 degrees Celsius x 2
=46 minus 4 = 42 then add 32 to get 74F

If you want to test your land-line phone without ringing someone else

Dial your own number -- if your phone is working it will give the engaged tone

If you want to save money on batteries take them out of your front door bell.

Don't forget to check every couple of minutes though that no one is stood there pressing the buzzer.

Save time when crossing a one-way street by only looking in the direction of oncoming traffic. -

When crossing a one-way street always look in BOTH directions in case a large blue furniture removal lorry is reversing the wrong way up the road. -

Everything is all online now. I can pay for my registration renewal online from DMV. All vehicular information is online. No need to go to DMV.

Lg you are the type of person who say its OK to use a scambler bike off road but I say who ever has that motorbike has to cross/use the public highway at some point so should be taxed and motIf an electric bicycle meets the EAPC requirements then it is exept but if it does not meet the EAPC then it must be taxed and insured.
Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle=EAPC requirement

Just so yoo know that taxis don't have MOT's they have 'Certificates of Compliance' these are issued every six months, providing the taxi passes its test, the council tests taxis every six months, and although the 'Certificate of Compliance' is inputted into the DVLA system, they don't show up on those universal MOT searches

Some cars are exempt from both road tax and MOT. I know of at least one person on these boards who will not need to pay, just as I don't pay road tax or MOT.

If you drive a invalid car you will change it after 3 years so no MOT and they are Tax exempt.

I thought invalid cars had been declared unsafe, and banned from UK roads in 2003!

My current car, had been pre-owned. It is not in any way adapted, but prior owner had it registered as a Motability vehicle. Had to re-register it when I acquired it.

(It is an automatic)

Former owner told me he had bought it with the cash he was given to replace his invalid car.

Bentlegs Motability cars are replaced every 3 years but you have to Mot the car before you replace it (no charge to the keeper)
