admin what is going on with blog site some have been hacked are you dealing with this,?

I wonder if the rest of the site is secure!

Why didn't someone say don't click on the WiganWorld link on the blog site just yet as it may have been hacked, I clicked on it thinking Brian was telling us something

Surely that should be the admins job Dougie.

I would have thought that admin would check the post before allowing it on the site.

I clicked on it also Dougie.

You very rarely seem to get any response on these boards from admin these days

Should at least acknowledge that the problem is being looked into. I have cleared all my browsing history cookies just in case nothing nasty was lurking

Its a good idea to do a virus sweep of pc for anyone who visits hacked pages/websites, just to be safe.

Done that as well Brocklanders. Cant be too careful.

How easy is it to find a posters Internet address, while there using this site.

Everyone who visits a site leaves their IP Address. So very easy.

Unless you're using a VPN like Cyberghost, then you're invisible, technically speaking

And if you are using one to join WW you have no chance

Brian is away for another week so no doubt it will get sorted when he gets back off holiday. Al I can suggest is that you dot log onto the BLOG topic until it's sorted.

I've just scanned the Wigan World Blog page at Virus Total. It reports no viruses at this time.

What I mean is, can anyone on find another members Internet number as I seem to remember someone posting people's numbers on here, because they wouldn't be intimidated by him, it was he's way of trying to get back at them.

The BLOG heading has been removed until it can be sorted.
