Wigan International Pool

Who was brave enough to jump from one of the high diving platforms.I would not even walk up there.Too much of a scaredy cat.My mates would always beg me to try it but i was not brave enough.I just used to watch whilst everyone whooped it up has someone jumped or belly flopped.

Same ere disco..i remember when anyone dived of the top every1 would stop and make a noise

What was the purpose of that room leading down towards the female changing rooms? It was like a sauna in there.People just used to stand in there like mad people.

I went with my grandchildren a few weeks ago and got a right telling off for diving in off the side, it seems that it is taboo in case you dive on the top of someone.

I think what it is aitch, is that if you was diving in the shallow end you could crack your head and it could cause paralaysis.Plus yeah has you mentioned i suppose you could dive on top of someone.

At my age diving on someone would be very much wishful thinking,mind you spirits willing flesh is weak, hope I spelt that right.

I made the third board........almost killed me, only did it the once.I'd be like Mr Bean goin off the top.

i did it off the top board once but it was a long time ago i think i was about 12 at the time dont think i would be brave enough to do it now
