Disco, I once read an article about Estee Lauder by an Australian girl who worked for her. She said that Estee Lauder told her that she had only ever used Sorbolene cream on her face and wouldn't touch her skin with anything else because they're full of chemicals!!!! Personally I reckon it's mainly down to your genes. My mum has still got beautiful skin and she's in her late eighties so I just hope that I take after her. She didn't have the money for expensive creams and potions she used to and I think still does swear by Ponds, in those days it was ponds cold cream!!!

They advertise that DNAge on telly showing the lovely skin it's suppose to give you. Er .... excuse me please, but how's about advertising it with somebody my age (57) instead of young lasses at 20 odd? Wor'a load of owd claptrap. I use Oil of Evening Primrose cream and it only costs 99p for a big jar. Been using it for years and I can't say I'm without a few lines here and there, but it is to do with the genes. Nowt else. I feel so sorry for these women who are so low in self-esteem that they spend loads of money on summat that doesn't work. You have to look at your parents and how they've aged, and that's pretty much what you'll look like when you get to their age.

Mollie, i agree, it is a lot down to genes. Not in my case though, because me Mam looks younger than me. She takes evening primrose oil every night, she has done for years. So, there is probably something in that evening primrose oil that works.
Maybe instead of spending lots on all these potions i should get some of that stuff.I read that anything with vitamin A in is also really good.
Im still going to give the Boots stuff a try.I will have to live in hope.

Nothing you put on your face is going to reverse the ageing process. As Anita Roddick, the owner of The Body Shop, says the expensive creams are just gods way of finding out the really stupid.

Exactly Stella, see my posting, even Estee Lauder says the same kind of thing!!
