I hope he/she finds a playmate soon.

Strange though that it (if it's the same one) has come back again to the same place. I suspect that they are the same and were holed up in hibernation either in your greenhouse somewhere where you wouldn't disturb them, or at least very close by.

BB, I would pay him rent for them engraceing my garden and eating all the slugs that would otherwise eat my plants as well as just making me happy that he honours me with his company, Like all things in nature, They come for a reason, Birds sing and we all love the sound but, they don't do it for our entertainment,
Watch, hear and feel nature, They are smarter than us, they don't work for a living, the world belongs to them,,,

Who is Daft As A talking to? I don't think he's caught on yet that nobody pays any attention to him. He just scrawls out any old rubbish to add to his post count. Pitiful really.

Anyway, Tom. How's the little fella doing? Any sign of a playmate yet? Don't want him to get too lonely.

No not yet Mollie but, he's a fine figure of a of a hog and with my feeding and watering will produce a Pon full of little hogs this year and with luck I will be privileged to meet them and I will share the pleasure for ALL WW to enjoy the experience, the Hedgehog is endangered and who knows when the last sightings are going to happen , those who care, share,

Tom, I absolutely despise the thoughts of endangering species due to the greed of humans invading their habitats. It really does make my blood boil. Humans are just another species and, it would seem, just an afterthought, as the animals were here long before us. We (humans) are the faulty species, not them, and it's vital that people like you care enough about them to help.

I've no idea when mankind will learn that the earth doesn't belong to them alone and that we have to share it with others, not of our own species and, hopefully, a day of enlightenment will come, but it won't be in our time.
