It's Raining Rocks ........

........ on the N420 road I frequently drive along. There's a series of high cliff faces at the side of the road and there's catch fences at the bottom in case of any loose rocks falling. However, I don't think this latest rock to fall onto the road would be stopped by a bit of mesh!
Luckily, no-one was hurt in the incident!

Well, that is a perfectly sliced cut if it has fallen off a cliff!
It looks to me like its an ornamental piece which has been
professionally cut by a stone mason

Has the haulage vehicle which was transporting it had an accident and shed its load?

That rock is far to large for it to be being transported by a haulage truck, it is probably more than a 100 tons in weight
