Anyone know when the library membership lapses in Wigan. Not been for ages but now have the time to get there more

Membership lasts for 5 years. If you haven't used your card for that long, just take it, and proof of name and address to a member of staff.

Apologies ! I didn't read the link. It must have changed. It's always been five years when I've had to renew my membership. I've had the same membership card for 35 years now ever since the library was first computerised. I must admit it's looking rather battered now but I don't want to change it for a new one.
I do miss the old library in Rodney Street. It had real atmosphere and I spent many happy hours there. The one in the Life Centre is clean and spacious but to me it's soul less, although I still enjoy choosing books.
