SUN SHINY DAYS

Started by: mollie m (8763)

Haven't we had a few lovely days this week? It was even warm enough today to be without my winter coat.

Now, I'm sorry but Friday won't be very nice. I tried my best spell, but I was over-ruled. I've worked on Saturday and Sunday though, and they'll be gorgeous again, so what will you all be getting up to?

I had two bulk bags of gravel delivered and started to spade/wheelbarrow into place in my back garden. Going for a haircut this morning hope it stops raining then I can move some more gravel. Don't like or need to work in the rain

Down the Sankey Valley to Winwick then up the country lanes to Risley and on Glaizerlers lane there is a fishery with a cafe, Its lunch there then on to culcheth, Lowton and on the East Lancs cycle lane to Carr Mill, up the Garswood old road to Pewfall and navigate back to home,, hopefully the rain holds off,

It’s chuckin’ it douwn, laaaike nowt raaaaight, where I am in sunny Spain. So, at 12.30 we’ll go into Mora to meet our Londoner friends and will proceed douwn the Ebro Valley then up a country lane to Reus where there is a Chinese Banquet called Asia, it’s lunch there then on to Brico Depot in Tarragona where I’ll pick up a bag of ‘gris media’ grout. Then it’ll be back along the A420, through Falset, in the rain, to do some more tiling. (inside, not in the rain).

The ride went discombobulated but, not by the weather, Our gang of four met at carr Mill as planned and after meeting and greeting each other set off, the weather was totally clement and the spirits were high and it was looking good until my buddies chain broke, Unbelievably none of us had the spares or tools to cope with this scenario so, I decided to go find a local bike shop and get what we needed but, It seemed unfair to spoil everyones day so the other 2 carried on to the pre planned ride while I set off in another bike shop friendly direction and my mate pushed his bike in that direction hoping to solve the problem and meet them later, Things got further complex as I got a puncture and the day got totally Bolacked, By the time I fixed the puncture and got the were with alls, my buddy had walked home, Having fun on cycles is unbeatable because, every time is different even on routes we know,,,

Mollie you can wrap up against the cold but hate it when I cannot get into the gardens if it is wet

Just set your thermostat to the recommended 21 degrees and it will adjust your boiler to the required level of heating to keep you and your property warm.

Unless you are out all day working, away for the day or on holiday, having the boiler only coming on at set periods while at home is false economy as the boiler takes longer to heat up and reach the set 21 degrees.
